SHIPBUILDER'S PLATES

Shipbuilders plates have become very collectable Maritime Antiques. They are the signature plate for the company that built the ship and proudly fixed to the front of the ships wheelhouse for all to see. They normally display the shipbuilders name and location, the unique ships yard number and the year the vessel was built.
It is very rare to find the ships name on a builders plate.
Shipbuilders plates come in many different shapes and sizes, but no two are the same.
