Antique sextant indistinctly signed - Hull.

A late 19th century navigators Sextant with the classic three ring design frame. Indistinctly ngraved on the arc B.C ______ & Son, Hull.

The silver scale is engraved from -5  degrees to 155 degrees and can measure angles to 128 degrees, it is divided into 10 minute increments. The index arm has swinging scale magnifier, the silver Vernier scale reads from 0 to 10 seconds of arc.

This sextant has a 6 inch radius.

Box measures W 25 / D 24.5 / H 12.5 cm

This antique Sextant is in good condition and contained within its original hardwood box. It comes with four telescopes. The small telescope sun filter is missing.
