A superb antique classic yacht compass binnacle by J. STONE & CO, DEPTFORD, LONDON.
A rare "onion top" classic yacht binnacle is complete with both it's original illumination lanterns which have domed chimneys and original oil burners. This classic mid to late 19th century example has a hand beaten brass binnacle hood with early castellated brazed seams. Fitted onto a circular hardwood mounting base.
